HYDRATION

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is about 15.5 cups or 3.7 liters of fluids for men and 11.5 cups or 2.7 liters of fluids per day for women.  A typical adult naturally loses about 2 to 3 liters of water in a 24 hour period.

How much does the average American drink in a day?  On average about 4 cups.

Proper hydration provides energy, better metabolism, better skin health, and better cognition.

WHY ARE NUTRIENTS IMPORTANT?

Vitamins and minerals function as co-factors in the body that enable many metabolic reactions to happen.  Without vitamins and minerals, we couldn't make new cells, repair damaged tissue, or convert food to energy.  When we eat a restricted or unhealthy diet, as most Americans do, we are not getting the vital nutrients our bodies need in order to recover, build muscle and gain strength.

THE SOLUTION

Intravenous nutrient supplementation. Receiving supplementation through an IV delivers hydration and nutrients directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the stomach and the intestines before reaching the circulatory system.  This means you get a better absorption rate than you would through oral supplementation.
